Mount Baker, also known by the indigenous name Kwelshán, is the third-highest stratovolcano in Washington state at an elevation of 10,781’. As one of the snowiest places in the world, the nearby Mount Baker ski area gets a whopping 663” of snow per year on average with a World Record of 1140” of snow during a single season in 1998-99.
The model includes a magnet to secure your refrigerator or other magnetic surfaces. Velcro also works great for car dashboards.
This 3D model was created from a USGS digital elevation model (DEM), manipulated in 3D modeling software, and 3D printed with PLA filament all, from about 120 miles from Mount Baker itself!
